After living and working abroad for a number of years I decided to move back to the UK and take up some further studies. I had been working within the tourist industry as a holiday representative and I realised that whatever I chose to do would be a challenge in our cooler climate. After lots of research and attending many courses, I stumbled upon and studied conservation and ran it parallel with some Counselling studies. Bingo, I had found my niche. I took up gardening for a living and continued to study Counselling at various colleges all over London. After moving to the south coast, I eventually gained my Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Northbrook College in Worthing, West Sussex.
Both of my occupations are mentally and pysically rewarding.
I am now settled in Littlehampton where I have set up my own private Counselling practice.
I am very passionate about helping people to gain their confidence and find their way in society and on the back of this, I mentor and work alongside ex-offenders to help and support them on their journey back into life on the outside. As well as attending various workshops I am currently studying and working towards my Diploma in Mindfulness in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
